Okay lets do the WAJIB syarat untuk contest ini.
PD is located about 70km from Kuala Lumpur. Among the famous beach in PD is Teluk Kemang and Blue Lagoon. The best thing about PD is, it is easy to access by transport. The highway is well-maintained and one can have a day trip picnic. It is a very convenient picnic place.
Why we chose PD?
Easy! 1st thing is because PD is the nearest picnic spot/beach a.k.a. N A T U R E to our place. Plus, with a short holiday during that time, PD was the best option to have a family picnic and at the same my aunt has a unit of apartment suitable for accommodation.
Well, after about 3-4 years since I visited PD, I think the beach and the environment has improved from previous years. But of course we can't compare PD with other beaches i.e: Langkawi, Cherating etc because PD is in a different league.
Err...Okay, before I write more crap, I really wanted to express that; PD is an ideal place for a N A T U R E lover like me (and you you and you) to bring our family for a short breakout from the hustle & bustle of the city. The location is strategically near to KL and also, it is easy to find accommodation for a night's stay. Worst come to worst, have a daytrip picnic and sleep in the comfort of our own bed. :)
Well anyway, reminiscing the picnic that we had that day, Tasneem had a VERY VERY GREAT time bathing in the sea. At first I thought she'll freak out to see the ocean/waves but SHE WAS NOT AT ALL!!! She was so excited and did not frightened at all. She even braved enough to let go of my hand and roamed freely in the water.
Just look at the 1st picture. Look at how happy she was at that time.
Ahh~ my girl, she's one happy little girl.

My personal experience, I was introduced to outdoor activity especially jungle trekking, hiking and camping at the very young age of er...4-5 years old? As far as I can remember, my father who was then a headmaster likes to bring his children to any scouts' camps. There was 1 time, he brought us to camp in Taman Negara, Pahang. Also, a weekend picnic up in the Air Terjun Gunung Ledang, where we had to hike about 2-3 hours and camped at the waterfall.
And I am proud to say that those experience contributed to what I am today.
Those past experiences has thought me to be a confident person, strong will to overcome challenges and also the most important thing is, it was the perfect time to bond with my father.
Hence, I'd would love my kids to experience those feelings themselves. I am grateful that my husband is also an outdoor type of person. Don't be surprised if I say that we have future plan to bring our kids to climb the highest peak in the South East Asia; the great and beautiful Mount Kinabalu. Someday.
